Firstly I dig Terry's playing a lot from an artistic stand point but I think he may have some high functioning autism that feeds his creative side but doesn't allow him to relate to an audience very well. After hearing about Nicolas Slonimsky's Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns for the umpteenth time the kid who just wanted TB to sign his "Sheik Yerbouti" or "Heavy Metal Bebop" CD is praying that a shard of wood from TB's sticks breaks off and stabs him in the jugular. The first time i saw Terry, i had just finished my final year of music theory in college and i swear to God, if i hadn't just taken the final exam a week before, and it was so fresh in my mind, i wouldn't have known what the hell he was talking about half of the time!
